You told me once
But I forgot.

Sweet sixteen
Sixteen, going on seventeen,
so much not yet seen.
Don't know what to, or where to go,
what you want, but sometimes no doubt about it too.
Joy and tears so close,
love and heartbreak hand in hand
parents still in command...
sometimes completely lost
and in need of someone to guide you.
